Marvel at the collection of 25 historical airplanes, helicopters, motors, and Formula One racing cars at Red Bull Hangar-7. The "Flying Bulls", an association of pilots and mechanics, founded this multifunctional building in 1999. Have a coffee at the lounge next to a P-38 Lightning--Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's service airplane. Watch the sunset reflected in the wings of the Mitchell B-25 from the café. Dine at Ikarus--a Michelin-starred restaurant. You'll also see two BO 105s--the world's only civil helicopter licensed for aerobatics. Ein wirklich toller Hangar ist das. Man verbringt keinen kompletten Tag dort aber ein paar Stunden sind sehr wohl drin. Lehrreich und interessant. Absolute Pflicht. more »A really great hangar is that. You don't spend a complete day there but a few hours are very much in it. Teachful and interesting. Absolute duty.
This place is amazing, literally one of the coolest places you can visit. The architecture is stunning and the planes look like they are brand new. You can actually feel the Red Bull energy when going around and reading some info about the exhibitions, it truly is beyond the ordinary. Also there is a very nice restaurant there but very expensive.
A nice collection of Red Bull automobiles, airplanes, helicopters..and entrance is free of charge...Formula 1 racing cars are impressive...if you are lucky, you can see some airplanes running and taking off. The Hangar is next to Airport Salzburg. There are a few restaurants inside. You can find a small souvenir shop. I am impressed by Red Bull airplanes. Worth to visit if you are in Salzburg. Also enjoy amazing view of nearby mountains, still snows on them
