Burg Square, Bruges
It's hard to miss Burg Square, the site of the city hall and bustling cafes. The attraction has been an administration hub since its construction. The 1376 city hall building is known as one of the Bruges' most beautiful landmarks, but it has some competition in the square with Charlemagne's cathedral and the Renaissance civil registry. In fact, almost every era of European architecture is represented in the surrounding buildings. Sit down at one of the cafes to people-watch against the backdrop of grandiose buildings and monuments. Put Burg Square and other Bruges attractions into our Bruges travel route builder website , and watch your holiday take shape.

Burg Square Reviews
Uma praça pitoresca nesta bela cidade da Bélgica, temos a Prefeitura da Cidade, a Basílica do Sangue Sagrado, lojas e restaurantes, um local de encontro de turistas para boas fotos. more »A picturesque square in this beautiful city of Belgium, we have the city hall, the Basilica of the Holy Blood, shops and restaurants, a meeting place for tourists for good photos.
more »A short walk from the market square. Burg (Burg) means "citadel" in Netherlands language, and it seems that the Citadel was created in this place around the ninth century. The square itself is small, but the surrounding area is the city hall and the Holy Blood Chapel, so it is a place for tourists to visit.
Beautiful and historic square with museums and other attractions. Also some very nice restaurants and bars very close by, and often a waffle vendor in a caravan - yum! Can be quite busy on weekends.
Was a nice plane to spend a summer brunch, chitchat and great beers with good food.
