Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History
Located in Cinquantenaire Park, Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History houses aircraft, weaponry, uniforms, and vehicles from all the nations that participated in World Wars I and II. Tightly packed into two halls in the park's northern complex, the exhibits are dense and visually stimulating. Consider combining your visit to museum with a trip to the park. The hall where the artifacts are housed was meant to be temporary, but expanded to a permanent space with a domed, glass roof that is easy to spot from most areas in the park. Even with COVID, great experience. The aircraft section of the museum is not climate controlled, so dress appropriately. Do not forget the tanks outside (some people do). Remember the gift store is..... more »

Wow - what a great museum! There is so much to see here and the layout of the museum is very well done. The building itself is really large. Starting from roughly the Napoleonic Wars, the layout has.... more »

This museum was amazing! As you enter, you walk through showcase of Belgian military uniforms, weapons, and much more (huge area). Then you lead into larger canon's and weapons. Towards the end, you walk through a door and you end up in.... A MASSIVE HANGER HOUSING DOZENS OF FIGHTER JETS, HELICOPTERS, PLANES. SERIOUSLY IT WAS AMAZING. If this is the kind of thing you like (or not), this museum will definitely give you something to see and remember. Also, your ticket entitles you to go up to the top of the Arch which was also amazing (the large arches with horses in it, just outside the entrance area). Getting up to the top of the arches alone is worth the entry fee in my opinion. Y'all need to see my pictures. Please like my review/photos if this has been of any help.

This museum was one of my favourites, I probably spent a good three hours here. There is so much to see and the hangar with all the army vehicles was amazing! Plenty of his military history and I was definitely impressed at how large the museum actually is. This is a must see in Brussels. Make sure to head to to the top as well, it has an amazing view!
