At Graslei and Korenlei, watch the perfectly preserved facades of medieval port houses reflected in the river. Nestled in the prospering heart of the inner city along the banks of the old port, the two streets were named after the goods--herbs, vegetables, and wheat--that were once stored in this area. To truly experience Ghent, sit on the cobblestones on either side of the water and soak up the atmosphere watching tour boats passing and people go by.     Too much the weather wasn't that great during the visit. Even so, it was still a pretty sight. It will be even prettier on on sunny day when you get clear reflection of the buildings in the water.  more »
