  I run into this cathedral by chance as it is not located near the main attractions. It is beautiful and full of paintings. If you have time and are not to tired to walk extra, you should visit it

  This is one of the famouse chruches of Ghent next to the Sint Niklaas, Sint Baafs, Sint Jacobs, etc. This church was part of the Saint Peters abbey of Ghent. Insode pf the church is very nice with beautiful catholic art. It is near the Zuid, Overpoort and universities. Visiting is recommended, also each year the city organizes a fair at the coirt of the church. At the back of the church you also have a nice vineyard that is open in the day, very nice place to visit.
