  This was built in 1884 for Crown Princess Isabel by her husband. Today, It is used more for events or exhibition. Nothing spectacular. Just for a quick photo stop.  more »

  I didn't get any information about it in loco. An empty glass building, I mean with some chairs and other stuff with no purpose all over the place.There were a lot of vendors outside it and it seems to me that they shouldn't be allowed there because it changes the purpose of the place. It's a historical site but a tourist will hardly notice unless he/she knows about Brazil history. It looks more like a food market. No panphlets, no information... I am awfully disappointed.
