  • A museum that can know the France of the time through Dynamo operation. Not only the France army at the time, military wear and equipment of the United Kingdom and Germany can be seen, materials, etc., people interested in history recommend visiting. At the concession shop, I was able to buy not only books about Operation Dynamo but also local souvenirs.

  • After lunch at the restaurant next to the beach, we left for the last point of the day in Deng Kirk. This is the museum of Operation Dynamo, "Musée Dunkerque 1940 Operation Dynamo". First of all, the simplest and fastest, is to see video to understand this period of history. But, I take a look at the next, a bit of video as if to see the link! Think about it, the video of the original broadcast is the same film that was seen in Fort des Dunes. This museum is more in-depth than the Operation Dynamo introduced by Fort des Dunes. In the middle of the day, there are a lot of real shapes, there are a lot of big retreat left behind and can be preserved so far in this exhibition is preserved. Also said at that time Dunkerque's people's livelihood, military life and so on everything. The meme says how the retreat was going in. And they were on the night, and the night was the day of the days, and the air of the Germans was not afraid of the army. During the great retreat of 9 days, 338,226 people withdrew from Corporal Dunke to England, of whom the British Army was about 215,000, the French army was about 95,000 people, and the Billy Army was about 33,000 people. There are 861 ships of all kinds, including fisherman ...

  • Nice little museum and good info telling the Dunkirk story obviously mainly from the French side. This isn't a museum with huge items on display, has lots of personal equipment/items with some bits from post Dunkirk. Has some refreshments and also a small shop section.
  • If you are in the region you must visit this museum. It has a film about the evacuation at dunkirk, artifacts, maps and models. Some of the staff speak very good english and are happy to tell about the different things in the exhibition.I was told it would be renewed very soon,so i guess it will be better. Bonus: If you have been in the army, for example by the tanks then maybe the one from the staff will invite you to see the weapons and stuff which are not in the exhibition
