Also known as the "Iron Woman," Eiffel Tower is an iconic symbol of the City of Lights. You’ve no doubt admired this tower in countless films, but when you see it for the first time you'll be blown away by its magnificent scale and grandeur. Gustave Eiffel built the 325-m (1,063 ft) tower in 1889, and for 40 years this was the tallest structure in the world. As you ascend to the third level, realize you’re climbing to the highest accessible observatory platform open to the public in the entire European Union. On the first and second levels, dine in the restaurants, shop in the boutiques, and enjoy breathtaking city views. An audio guide and an iPhone app in English offer historical and cultural tidbits. Taking the Métro to the Ecole Militiare stop, then strolling up Champ de Mars, is a lovely way to arrive. Plan to see Eiffel Tower and other attractions that appeal to you using our Paris planner.

  • The Eiffel Tower was a great time! If you have the option, definitely do a tour of the Eiffel Tower. Learned a lot about the tower and gained more info from the locals on what I was looking at when I....  more »

  • Absolutely gorgeous!!🤩🤩 Should be on the top of your bucket list of Paris visit. This is really one of the most magnificent structures in the world. I highly recommend going at night so you can see the glittering lights. It's really amazing. Visited Paris during winter time and was afraid of spoiling our trip since daylight time is very less. But it's the most wonderful time to visit there because of the night beauty of this city. An evening in Paris and night view of Eiffel tower took my breath away...❣️the city of Love 💖 I would suggest you to book entry tickets online well in advance so that you can skip the large queue and get the convenient slots. There are options to book summit view(top of Eiffel) or view from second floor. Even though the second floor view is fabulous, you shouldn't miss the mind blowing top view. 😄 Also there are options to book the top visit using stairs as well as elevators. Really worth visiting..!! NB: beware of pickpockets around the attractions as well as in Metro. 😣
  • This is truly one of the most magnificent structures in the world! I've made the trip all the way from Germany just to visit this iconic people selling souvenirs nearby and they are relatively cheap compared to those sold in the shops. not sure if they are selling them legally tho. Anyway, the place is just simply perfect!
