Painted by Monet numerous times, Parc Monceau is an elegant green space in the middle of cosmopolitan Paris. Check out the statues, entrance rotunda, and the surrounding mansions. Thanks to city planner Haussmann, this precious slice of parkland was reserved for the enjoyment and leisure of the people of Paris. The park's plan is unusual in France, due to its casual, English-style layout. This contrasts with other Parisian parks, such as the formal Luxembourg Gardens and Tuileries. Scaled-down architectural replicas are scattered through the park, including an Egyptian pyramid, a Dutch windmill, and a Chinese fort. • A beautiful park to enjoy in the 17th district in Paris. A great place to enjoy some urban nature. Great for families since there are some activities for children and also have a small coffee break. A very popular place to run/jog. I love it!
  • A lovely park to run or walk around. I spent some time in the morning running around with locals and then went back with my girlfriend to have a walk. A very friendly atmosphere. A lovely way to finish off our trip to Paris. The men's toilets were broken though which meant men and women had to share.
