  • therefore... On holidays, such as Pentecost, you really have to look for a parking space. Then, if you're lucky, you catch the 1/2-hour shuttle bus €8€ for 2EW+2Ki for a ride. So back and forth €16 plus parking fee, of course. (Friends were lucky and could park at the top of the castle €5.) So before you enter the castle, you're really going coal before you enter the castle. But then the lead is very interesting and impressive. Even teenagers are "taken with them," as at the end of the tour the grand banquet hall is described as a filming location of ruby red, sapphire blue and emerald green.

  • We stayed in this historic castle very early (8.30 am) and took a guided tour with a total of 4 people. Very informative. The Wartburg is a must.

  • Amazing place, where you can relax after long business day. Walking distance from Eisenach downtown and the best time for visit after all tourists are gone after 5PM. Only in that time you will enjoy no rush, stress crowds...so simply you will feel atmosphere of this wonderful place. Regular place for relax👍
  • Fantastic castle with a lot of history and a great view. You can get a guided tour for 10€ through the different rooms which is definitely worth doing. Keep in mind that parking is at the start of the slope do you have to pay 5€ and walk about 200m upwards.
