  • Who am I to judge what is art? Well I do visit dozens of museums per year world wide and yes this still does not make me an art critic. I will say one thing about what one may or may not deem as art. ...  more »

  • Decent museum with lots of exhibits detailing the history of London through its various incarnations over time. It seemed a little weighted towards early history for my liking. I’d have liked more dedicated Victorian London, but that’s where my interest lies. A fan of Romans etc would love the place
  • So I may have gone to one of these exhibitions if "art" that are random arrangements of trash, pieces of pipes etc... I don't consider this art, but this is personal preference and not a determinant of the quality of the museum itself. The building is nice and large, well lit and there's enough rooms and space to properly present all artworks. Not crowded. The museum is reasonably priced and you get access to an extra exhibition in a neighboring building (in my case that one was actually better!). Check what exhibition is on before you commit to buying a ticket, because they don't seem to have a permanent collection.
