Agia Irini Convent Reviews
Посетили в сентябре 2019. Чудесный и уютный маленький монастырь. Меня зовут Ирина и дочь Ирина—поэтому это было первое место, которое я хотела посетить на Крите. Вход бесплатный. Admission is free. The tour from the nun to everyone is also completely free. The candle should be put only one for health and rest. You throw the money in the drawer at your discretion. There is a church shop at the monastery. I recommend buying gifts here, because all other monasteries and temples did not have shops. And I really regretted that I bought the oil only for myself. We've been looking for this place for a long time. There are few signs on the roads. This monastery is not on the map. Long skirts lie at the entrance.

She showed us around the monastery and explained the history in a charming way! A place of peace and recollection... and also prayers to St. Irene.. Recommend if you go through Rethymnon!
An absolutely stunning place so peaceful. The nun shows you around the monastery and church in a lovely tour and there's a quaint shop with local produce made at the monetary such as olive oil and embroidery. We went on the red bus, which normally im totally against but this is well worth the money and has some gorgeous views!
A wonderful and peaceful small monastery. A very kind sister led us through the area and told us about the history of this holy place. The little shop has a great variation of handmade and handcrafted goods. An absolute recommendation for a short visit.
