I am usually not that much of an classical art person but I found this museum very interesting for it's wide array of different pieces. It covers classical busts, Renaissance paintings, Byzantine clothing, historical coins and much more. What I found best were the texts that have me a reference with which I could understand the various pieces.
The museum is situated in a beautiful historical building and hosts artifacts from all Greek periods. It offers an audio tour via an app but we didn't try it. Worth a visit.Lots of interesting stuff in this museum - I especially liked the exhibits on old styles of Greek clothing. If you're going to pay this museum a visit, come for lunch because the view from the top floor is spectacular!
