  • The views of the monastery, as hung, continuity of the hill, are beautiful. But its journey is not very interesting; it is one of the smallest (only one floor and a few rooms are covered); the church is small, and its frescoes not very well preserved. It has a nice garden, which can be seen from the access. On the access ladder the path to a viewpoint is pointed out; If you are driving do not climb, it is the pedestrian access to one of the viewpoints near the road; so with the car you'll arrive effortlessly. • The least spectacular of those visited by us. Small and quite crowded monastery of nuns. We went because we thought they'd have frescoes with Theotokos, but they didn't. The church is very small and is not too interesting in the paintings that are repeated as in almost all Orthodox churches. Both nuns and guards have quite a bad temper. Same price and specific control of clothing with dog face. Your visit may be fine without people and quietly, but after visiting others it may no longer impress.

  • It is really very little to see here. Just the church and small terrace with beautiful flowers. If you need to choose a few of the monasteries which you would like to visit - I would not recommend this one. There is also a view point above this monastery (with the nice forest path leading to it) with probably one of the best views of the whole Meteora complex.
  • My favourite of the monasteries we've been to in the area. Small and less to see, but more picturesque. It is beautifully kept with lots of gorgeous flowers, and the nuns make their own honey and herbal mixes to sell. I also found the souvenirs here to be less mass-produced than the other monasteries. Beautiful views and less crowded than the more popular monasteries.
