    We had the entire place to ourselves, on a scorching hot day in September (38 degrees). This was entirely COVID-driven - there were very few tourists in the area at all - and we felt for the staff...  more »

    We can feel there how big was the Pella city, capital of Macedonia with Alexander the great. However, some walking paths should be added. It's good to combine with the new museum that presents plenty of artefacts found in the city.

    Worth a visit if you're in the area. Lady it the ticket office was extremely helpful and friendly. Makes all the difference for visitors. Greatly appreciated.
