#1 of 236 in Spas in Greece
Venture just outside of the capital to soak in the healing, mineral-rich waters of Lake Vouliagmeni. Springs up to 100 m (328 ft) deep are the source of the thermal water, which is between 22-29 C (72-84 F) year-round. Try out the fish spa, where small fish nibble gently on the dead cells of your hands and feet, leaving your skin clean and refreshed. If swimming doesn't interest you, yoga and pilates classes are also offered. The area surrounding the lake is good for hiking, biking, and walking among tall pine trees. • I love it so peaceful
  • Although the scenery was beautiful, and the facility was clean, there are many ways this place can improve. I will start with the major issue and trickle down to the petty issues I wouldn't have mentioned had the major issue not happened. My two children and a few other kids were playing in the lake. I admit, they were not silent, they were laughing, playing tag and would occasionally yelp as each of them were tagged. The staff came to all sets of parents and asked that we make the kids whisper and stop laughing. The reasoning being that the laughter was bouncing off the walls and bothering the nature and guests. This is not posted anywhere that our children needed to be silent, and after paying 12 Euros per person, was disappointing that our children had to play silently in the lake and on the playground. Petty issues: customer service seemed annoyed when we asked for coffee, coffee was cold, use of plastic cups, and super expensive. The positives: clean, well kept, nice scenery (but Greece is full of this for free)... We live in Athens, and this is not normal for most Greek areas.
