Dive deep between the tectonic plates that once connected the continents at Extreme Iceland. Experienced guides will take you through the fresh waters of Thingvellir National Park. The tour includes hotel pickup, all equipment, and a warm snack afterward. Some tours even include time to hunt for the Northern Lights after the diving has finished. You can choose from many tour options, and not all require dive equipment. Snorkeling tours are a more relaxed option or for those without diving experience. Many of these dives have requirements, such as diving certifications and necessary clothing, so make sure to prepare before booking. Ice Cave Tour was amazing. 10/10 would do it again. We went at the end of March (still wintertime in Iceland) so make sure to dress appropriately. Think: insulated waterproof jacket, waterproof pants, mid-hi waterproof hiking boots + waterproof camera. Tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable about the terrain, cave and glacier.
Wonderful and unique landscapes, even when the weather was very cold, the whole trip was very pleasant and exceeded all my expectations. We believe we enjoyed the trip that much in large part to the excellent service of our guide Oliver. He cared about each of the passengers. One day I did not feel well for hiking and he suggested me to go to visit a museum, so I said yes and it was incredible. If we decide to return to Iceland someday (summer for sure!) we will get an Extreme Iceland Tour without thinking!
