  • Mina Masjid (Heavenly Mosque) is a tiny private mosque, built of white marble, by Shah Jahan, between 1631-40 It is situated near Diwan-i-Khas, just above the Sheesh Mahal The Mina Masjid is enclosed on all the four sides by high walls. It has a small open court in front of the three-arched prayer chamberr Shahjahan used this mosque during his imprisonment in the adjoining Musamman Burj, from 1658 - 66. It is closed to the public
