Dodda Ganapathi Temple features a giant idol of Lord Ganesha. Originally constructed by Kempegowda I, Bangalore's founder, this shrine occupies a spot where the ruler ordered a massive boulder to be sculpted into a stone idol of Ganesha. The 5.5 m (18 ft) high idol boasts various forms of elaborate decorations, including some created using layers of butter.   • Relatively small temple, but houses the largest monolithic Nandi statue in India, so is worth a visit to see that.  more »
  • The place has extremely good vibes. You can feel the devotion here. The place is very calm and peaceful. It is one of the most famous temples in Bangalore. Also, every year, you can visit the groundnut fair that is conducted here. The temple is very well maintained and it is a good place to visit. Overall I had a beautiful experience here.
  • Temple is good specially the big bull temple. Also move little ahead of the temple you will see rock park. Park is very beautiful have lots of greenery and big solid rocks. Worth to spend some time here.
