  • Amazing place to visit in Jaipur. It preserves many ancient instruments which were used for time related calculations, which works very precisely till date. It features the world's largest stone sundial, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.The observatory is an example of the Ptolemaic positional astronomy which was shared by many civilizations. Very popular hub for tourists

The accuracy achieved by these instruments, constructed centuries ago, is astounding, given the fact that giant leaps in science and technology since then, have not achieved the same levels of accuracy in today's measuring instruments of daily use...
