Situated inside a former convent, Civic Archaeological Museum traces the history of ancient Milan. The complex, established in the 9th century, now features modern exhibits designed to provide a glimpse into the city's earliest days. The museum displays artifacts unearthed in Milan and the surrounding area, and is best known for containing ancient statues and rare examples of Roman glass. Follow the viewing route to access the three sections dedicated to Etruscan and Greek civilizations, as well as Lombardy in medieval times. Look for ancient Greek theatrical masks, Roman funerary stele, and Corinthian helmets from the 5th century BCE. • Milan is immense and very organized for tourists. You like Roman themes, it is worth taking a tour in this area from BRISA street to MAGENTA Course - right at the corner of the brisa street you find the church of St. Maurice which was a pagan temple before becoming a Catholic church - enter p ure - at the end you will find the civic museum - it is worth !
