  • I love markets and in my travels I always visit a couple of them. This if you go to the Vatican is a good option to eat, we ate a sandwich of Bruscheta for €3 and a beer D half a liter for other €3 the stalls have a spectacular genre and is a good siti Or to buy typical Italian product like cheeses and sausages, I highly recommend it.

  • After our one week trip in Rome, we found our most favorite cafe in this market!! The cafe is so hidden and even doesn't have a spot in Google map, but this place gave me really good memories. The lady there is charming, she wrote "Love Rome" with chocolate in our cappuccino, big surprise for us!! Coffee also tastes so good! Thank you for the good memory! Sorry we didn't remember the name of the cafe, but I guess there's only one cafe in this market, they have paper money showed on the wall, from many countries, but we didn't find Sweden, so we gave our Swedish kronor.^^
  • It is a great experience to visit this place for someone who loves market halls. Every country I go, I always try to find a good market to discover. Mercato Trionfale did not disappoint me in any way. There are various stands with colorful vegetables, amazing meat and cheese selections, nicely prepared bakeries, one row of kiosks exclusively dedicated to seafood - fish with various types and sizes (e.g. swordfish), scallops, squids, shrimp, lobster, etc. This place provides a great opportunity to discover what fresh ingredients Italians use and how these are served and sold. Because of the opening hours of the stands, plan to visit the market until noon.
