Trip Planner: Europe / Italy / Lombardy / Province of Bergamo / Valbrembo / Parco Faunistico le Cornelle
More than just another run-of-the-mill zoo, Parco Faunistico le Cornelle extends over more than 100 hectares (250 acres), and promotes the study, monitoring, and humane preservation of wildlife in captivity. The animals sheltered here live in enclosures carefully designed to reconstruct their original habitats as closely as possible. At this park you can see over 1,000 animals belonging to over 120 different species, including mammals, birds, and reptiles. The site also boasts one of the largest aviaries in the country, covering an area of about 7,000 sq m (75,000 sq ft). As you explore this sprawling wildlife sanctuary, keep an eye out for endangered snow leopards, white lions, and especially white tigers, which are now completely extinct in the wild. The site includes a restaurant, picnic areas, a children’s park, and several souvenir shops. Save time by booking your tickets online. Parco Faunistico le Cornelle Reviews
Sono un difensore degli animali, una persona sensibile e attenta verso il mondo animale e proprio per questo ho trovato il parco delle Cornelle non così attento ai fabbisogni ed esigenze degli animali... more »I am a defender of animals, a person sensitive and attentive to the animal world and for this reason I found the park of Cornelle not so attentive to the needs and needs of animals. Already the fact that they are in cages for our pleasure, for the human pleasure of making money and for demonstration is wrong. Would you like to stay in a room all the GG of your life, eat at established times and have hundreds of people who take pictures and annoy you? The answer is no. Having said that I find the park an old, structurally old, not avant-garde and dirty place. I do not recommend it to those who like me came out with a bitter taste in my mouth and a knot in my stomach.
Parco molto bello pulito e curato gli animali sono in aree idonee ben visibili anche da molto vicino.consigliato. more »Park very nice clean and cared for the animals are in suitable areas well visible even from very close. Recommended.
