Take a stroll through Parco Ciani, Lugano's major green space. The park covers 6.3 hectares (15.6 acres), so you can explore extensively without retracing your steps. Discover paths lined with statues and fountains amidst the meticulously kept English lawn. The park is divided into two sections: one features Italian and English gardens, with manicured flower beds and tree species from around the world, while the other is more wild, with a forest of oak, lime, plane, and maple trees. This area also houses the natural history museum and a convention center. Plan my Lugano trip by asking Inspirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

  • Lovely park with endless photo opportunities. If you would like a glass of wine, visit the old port bistro at the far side from the town entrance. Watch out for living tree sculptures.

  • Very beautiful, well-made park next to the lake. Definitely worth a visit!
  • Beautiful park by the Lugano lake. The vegetation is different, colorful, and meticulous. There is a playground for kids and even an ocean-like beach to lay down, play with sand and swim in the lake. You can walk your dogs with a leash. There are public toilets and a fountain to drink. Access is free.
