Best known as the site of Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty's final clash, Reichenbach Falls attracts fans of the Sherlock fiction series from all over the world. However, with a combined drop of 250 m (820 ft) and picturesque alpine setting, this spectacular series of waterfalls has a broad appeal. A scenic funicular ride makes the site easy to access, located just a short walk from the Reichenbachfall station. At their fullest, the waterfalls can produce a considerable spray, so be sure to wear shoes with good grip and bring a waterproof jacket.     This place is mainly for the Sherlock Holmes fans. If you been to other major water falls around the world, this is not a big thing. The best part is that you can see the falls within a few steps...  more »

    Fantastic and mysterious place... Especially if you’re a fan of the Mr. Sherlock Holmes. But be careful, you should have good condition and breathing, somewhere you’ll climb... :)))

    The place of pilgrimage of every Conan Doyle fan. The waterfall itself is also very impressive. You cannot see the whole waterfall at once. You are coming up with the trail and it reveals more and more. Parking at the funicular station is free. We enjoyed it very much.
