A spiritual center of Shintoism, Ise stands as a traditional city where visitors can see the roots of Japanese culture in a number of well-preserved natural and historic sites.
Kick off your visit on the 21st (Sat): get to know the fascinating history of Ise Shrine Geku, steep yourself in history at Oharai-machi, don't miss a visit to Okage Yokocho, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Ise Grand Shrine, then don't miss a visit to Meotoiwa, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Futami Okitama Shrine.

Singapore, Singapore to Ise is an approximately 12- hour combination of flight and train. You can also do a combination of flight, bus, and train; or do a combination of flight and train. The time zone changes from Singapore Standard Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 1 hour difference. Traveling from Singapore in March, expect Ise to be cooler, temps between 13°C and 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sun) early enough to drive to Shima.

Notable for its oysters and the production of cultured pearls, the city of Toba, mostly situated within Ise-Shima National Park, includes a number of small islands in Ise Bay.
Start off your visit on the 24th (Tue): observe the fascinating underwater world at Toba Aquarium, then head off the coast to Mikimoto Pearl Island, then enjoy breathtaking views from Toba Observatory, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Shinmei Shrine.
