The prosperous French Riviera resort town of Antibes is a popular summer destination featuring tons of beaches to suit couples, families, and any type of lifestyle, along with dozens, if not hundreds of cafes, bars, and salons de thé (tea) along the Mediterranean coast.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Saint-Paul de Vence and Fort Carre. Musee Picasso and Musee Escoffier de l'Art Culinaire will appeal to museum buffs. There's lots more to do: observe the fascinating underwater world at Marineland, get to know the fascinating history of Le Sentier du Littoral, Cap d'Antibes, enjoy the sea views from Garoupe Lighthouse (Phare de la Garoupe), and cool off at Aquasplash.

Lagos, Nigeria to Antibes is an approximately 16-hour flight. In July in Antibes, expect temperatures between 32°C during the day and 24°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 25th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Avignon.

An ancient town center surrounded by medieval ramparts, Avignon is a major city of Provence and a Mediterranean city in the Vaucluse department on the left bank of the Rhône River.
On the 26th (Fri), make a trip to Pont d'Avignon, don't miss a visit to Palais des Papes, then view the masterpieces at Galerie Boutique John Gormsen, then see the interesting displays at Musee Angladon, and finally delve into the distant past at Roman Theatre of Orange.

On the 27th (Sat), step into the grandiose world of Chateau de Castelnaud, make a trip to Chateau des Milandes, and then admire the natural beauty at Les Jardins de Marqueyssac. On the 28th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: browse the eclectic array of goods at Sarlat Market, admire all the interesting features of Les Noyeraies du Landers, then indulge your taste buds at Marche Couvert - Marche Alimentaire de Sarlat, then stop by Cave Philippe Godard, and finally don't miss a visit to Vieux Sarlat.
