Traveling by combination of flight and train from Miyakojima to Hiroshima takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or do a combination of flight and ferry. Traveling from Miyakojima in September, things will get a bit cooler in Hiroshima: highs are around 32°C and lows about 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 21st (Mon) so you can take a train to Kochi.
