Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Cavtat Cemetery and Dubrovnik Beer Company. Get a sense of the local culture at Dubrovnik City Walls and Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Change things up with a short trip to Cavtat Seaside Promenade in Cavtat (about 32 minutes away). There's still lots to do: take in panoramic vistas at Upper Corner Tower Foundry Museum, browse the exhibits of Rector's Palace, examine the collection at Love Stories Museum, and contemplate the long history of The Franciscan Church and Monastery.

An hour boat ride from Split on the island of Brac, Bol boasts a charming old town, pebble beach, and great windsurfing conditions. Historical charm abounds here in the form of stone houses, narrow pedestrian streets, and historical attractions marked with panels.
Relax by the water at Sumartin Beach and Murvica Beach. Discover out-of-the-way places like Wine Tasting Brac & Olive Oil Brac and Paklina Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Bol side-trips: Parish church complex (in Supetar), Museum of Brac (in Skrip) and Senjkovic Winery (in Nerezisca). There's still lots to do: stroll through Zlatni Rat Beach (Golden Horn) and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Vidova Gora.
