Geysir tourism revolves around a famed geyser, which goes from very calm to extremely volatile depending on the subterranean seismic activity at the time.
On the 2nd (Tue), take in the natural beauty of Strokkur, witness a stunning natural landmark at Geysir, admire the sheer force of Gullfoss Falls, then take in the natural beauty of Haukadalur, then take in the dramatic scenery at Bruarfoss Waterfall, and finally admire the sheer force of Faxi (Vatnsleysufoss) Waterfall. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 3rd (Wed): play a few rounds at Geysir Golf Course and then appreciate the views at Gjain.

Höfn or Höfn í Hornafirði is an Icelandic fishing town in the southeastern part of the country. Take a break from the city and head to Glacier Lagoon and Hoffellsjokull Glacier. Get out of town with these interesting Hofn side-trips: Diamond Beach (in Jokulsarlon), Djupivogur (Sveinsstekksfoss & The Bulandsnes) and Hvalnes Lighthouse (in Hornafjorour). Next up on the itinerary: paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour, admire the masterpieces at The Thorbergur center, and laugh and play at Hofn Swimming Pool.

Traveling by combination of bus and flight from Geysir to Hofn takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 13°C in June, and nighttime lows around 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Vik.

Your inner history buff will appreciate Vik Church and Dwarf Crags Dverghamrar. Visit Black Sand Beach and Reynisfjara Beach for some beach relaxation. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Vik: Kirkjubaejarklaustur (Fjadrargljufur Canyon & Skaftarstofa) and Seljalandsfoss - Waterfall (in Hella). There's still lots to do: admire the sheer force of Skogafoss, take in the dramatic natural features at Sólheimajökulll, make a trip to Dyrhólaey, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Reyniskirkja Church.

You can drive from Hofn to Vik in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In June, daytime highs in Vik are 12°C, while nighttime lows are 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Tue) early enough to drive to Reykjavik.

Get in touch with nature at Nature & Wildlife Tours and Off-Road Tours. Get some historical perspective at Hallgrimskirkja and Hvalsneskirkja. Venture out of the city with trips to Thermal Spas (in Grindavik) and Thingvellir National Park (in Thingvellir).
