Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Kick off your visit on the 18th (Sun): take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at The Three Sisters, identify plant and animal life at Glen Etive, and then trek along Glencoe Lochan. On the 19th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: look for all kinds of wild species at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, steep yourself in history at Glenfinnan Viaduct, then steep yourself in history at Glenfinnan Monument, and finally take a memorable drive along Morar Beach.
