In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Let the collections at Museo Egizio and Casa di Giulietta capture your imagination. For shopping fun, head to Piazza delle Erbe or Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Venture out of the city with trips to Villa Carlotta (in Tremezzina), Verona (Torre dei Lamberti, Arena di Verona, &more) and Aero Club Monte Cornizzolo (in Suello).
