Explore Wrexham's surroundings by going to Caerau Gardens (in Bala) and North Wales Owl Sanctuary (in Corwen). And it doesn't end there: don't miss a visit to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, explore the landscape on two wheels at Nercwys Forest, contemplate the waterfront views at River Alyn, and identify plant and animal life at Maes-y-Pant / Marford Quarry.

Change things up with a short trip to Mountain Expertise in Bethesda (about 32 minutes away).
