Visiting Black Sand Beach and Skogafoss will get you outdoors. Step out of Skogar with an excursion to Gluggafoss/Merkjarfoss in Hvolsvollur--about 40 minutes away. The adventure continues: tour the pleasant surroundings at Reynisfjara Beach, take in the dramatic natural features at Reynisdrangar, make a trip to Dyrhólaey, and take in the dramatic scenery at Gljufrabui Waterfalls.
