Penrith is a market town and civil parish in the county of Cumbria, England. Change things up with a short trip to Scale Force in Buttermere (about 1h 05 min away). There's much more to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Derwentwater, play a few rounds at Penrith Golf Centre and Driving Range, tour the pleasant surroundings at Hallin Fell, and take in the dramatic scenery at Aira Force Waterfall.
