A major hub for visitors exploring Ireland's western regions, Galway serves as a city of art and culture, renowned for its vibrant lifestyle and numerous festivals.
Get out of town with these interesting Galway side-trips: Burren National Park (in Corofin), Castlefergus Equestrian (in Quin) and Bunratty Castle & Folk Park (in Bunratty). Renowned for its Georgian architecture, Westport sits in the shadows of Croagh Patrick, considered the holiest mountain in Ireland.
Get out of town with these interesting Westport side-trips: Belleek Castle Museum (in Ballina), Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden (in Kylemore) and Keem Bay (in Achill Island). Next up on the itinerary: stroll through Carrowholly Stables & Trekking Centre, pause for some serene contemplation at Aughagower Church, examine the collection at Michael Davitt Museum, and explore the landscape on two wheels at The Great Western Greenway.

Start off your visit on the 14th (Sun): take in the pleasant sights at Kilkee Cliff Walk, then head off the coast to Scattery Island, then hike along Hag's Head, and finally tour the pleasant surroundings at Cliffs of Moher. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 15th (Mon): shop like a local with Doreen Drennan Art Studio & Garden, then Head underground at Aillwee Cave, and then take in the dramatic natural features at The Burren.
