Called "Oporto" by many, the city of Porto along the Duoro River lent the country and Port wine their names. Portugal's second-largest metropolis dates back to the 4th century, representing both a rich cultural past and industrial present through its architecture and style.
Porto Cathedral (Se Catedral) and Palacio da Bolsa are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Attractions like Praia do Carneiro and Praia da Luz make great kid-friendly stops. There's lots more to do: snap pictures at Ponte de Dom Luis I, look for gifts at Garrafeira do Carmo, browse the exhibits of House of the Prince (Casa do Infante), and take in panoramic vistas at Clerigos Tower.

A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Musee d'Orsay and Musee Rodin. Do your shopping at Le Marais and Champs-Elysees. Vibrant and noisy, London is one of the world’s leading cities, an international capital of culture, education, fashion, music, finance, trade, and politics.
Bring the kids along to Natural History Museum and Tower Bridge. Tower of London and Churchill War Rooms will appeal to history buffs. There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of British Museum, admire the masterpieces at Tate Modern, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Westminster Abbey, and get a sense of history and politics at Houses of Parliament.
