Braithwaite is a village in the northern Lake District, in Cumbria, England. Step out of Braithwaite with an excursion to Boat Tours & Water Sports in Glenridding--about 32 minutes away. There's still lots to do: take a peaceful walk through Whinlatter Forest Park, take in the views from Ashness Bridge, look for gifts at Braithwaite General Store, and examine the collection at The Puzzling Place.
