Famous for the groves of coconut trees from which it takes its name, Kovalam offers a long, white sandy beach on the Arabian Sea.
Escape the urban bustle at Kovalam Beach and Samudra Beach. Do some cultural sightseeing at Puthenmalika (Kuthiramalika) Palace and Sreekandeswaram Mahadeva Temple. Take a break from Kovalam with a short trip to Muthalapozhi in Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum), about 32 minutes away.
