Famous for being the birthplace of the Beatles, Liverpool is a vibrant city with an outstanding cultural heritage.
Visiting Great Orme and Barmouth Beach will get you outdoors. Get a sense of the local culture at Royal Albert Dock Liverpool and Portmeirion Village. Get out of town with these interesting Liverpool side-trips: Harlech Beach (in Harlech), Chatsworth House (in Bakewell) and Caernarfon Castle (in Caernarfon).
