Llandudno is a seaside resort, town and community in Conwy County Borough, Wales, located on the Creuddyn peninsula, which protrudes into the Irish Sea. Kick off your visit on the 15th (Sat): take in the pleasant sights at Llandudno Promenade, take in the waterfront at Llandudno Pier, and then take in the dramatic natural features at Great Orme. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 16th (Sun): whizz through the canopy at Zip World, then surround yourself with nature on Seacoast Safaris, and then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Welsh Mountain Zoo.

London to Llandudno is an approximately 4.5-hour train ride. You can also drive; or do a combination of flight and train. Traveling from London in August, expect nights in Llandudno to be about the same, around 15°C, while days are slightly colder, around 21°C. Porthmadog, known locally as "Port", and since 1974, rendered into Welsh from its former Anglicised form, Portmadoc, is a small coastal town and community in the Eifionydd area of Gwynedd, in Wales. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Snowdon and Castle Gallery. Head to Plas Glyn y Weddw and Pwyth Pistyllfor plenty of shopping. When in Porthmadog, make a side trip to see Cwm Idwal National Nature Reserve in Bethesda, approximately Bethesda away. There's much more to do: get outside with Dragon Raiders Activity Park, whizz through the canopy at Zip World Slate Caverns, and steep yourself in history at Portmeirion Village.
