Hayling Island is an island off the south coast of England, in the borough of Havant in the county of Hampshire, near Portsmouth.HistoryAn Iron Age shrine in the north of Hayling Island was later developed into a Roman temple in the 1st century BC and was first recorded in Richard Scott's Topographical and Historical Account of Hayling Island, published in 1826. Portsmouth is a port city and unitary authority in the ceremonial English county of Hampshire and is located south-west of London and south-east of Southampton. You've now added HMS Warrior 1860 to your itinerary. Start off your visit on the 7th (Sat): see the interesting displays at The Mary Rose, see the interesting displays at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, then take a tour of HMS Warrior 1860, and finally enjoy breathtaking views from Spinnaker Tower.
