  • Some of the points of the Industrial Revolution are now a center of nostalgia. Steam trains and rail transport are also a very strong issue for me. A very important pillar of the Ottoman efforts to keep up with the west in the 19th century is the start of railway works in Anatolia. In 1856, on the orders of Sultan Abdülmecid, the construction of the Izmir-Aydin railway had begun. However, the road, which was completed in 1866, coincided with the Abdulaziz period after abdulmajid's death, and was referred to as Aziziye station, the Camlik station in Selcuk district. Since 1991, the area where the station is located has been used as a steam train museum. I strongly advise you to see it. Dozens of steam locomotives and wagons are on display on large grounds. The business also has a café and a restaurant, and if you're a little curious, you can't wander around for hours and get bored.

  • Open Air Museum with late 1800's era steam locomotives from German, England and French origins. Snow plowing, railroad maintenance and crane cars are also stored at the area. There is also a private railcar dedicated and privately designed and build for Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Founder of Republic of Turkey, in the purpose of inspections of Western Manuevers. The museum has restaurant for breakfast and dinner options, and at very good sightseeing location to bring small children and dogs, which annoyed at the long road to Bodrum.
  • Interesting and beautiful place, fun for kids.
