Considered the country’s fourth-greatest natural wonder, World Heritage-listed Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, formed by ancient volcanic eruptions. Most of the columns are hexagonal, with the tallest rising 12 m (39 ft) into the air. Some of these rock structures, after several million years of weathering, resemble easily recognizable objects. These include the Organ, Giant’s Boot, Giant’s Eyes, and Camel’s Hump. Visit the area to see and photograph a wide variety of native seabirds, such as cormorants, redshanks, and razorbills. The weathered rocks shelter a number of rare and unusual plants, including sea spleenwort, sea fescue, and frog orchid. Stop by the visitor center for more information, souvenirs, and refreshments. A visit to Giant's Causeway represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Bushmills trip itinerary planner to plot your vacation.

You leave Dublin, you go to The Giant's Causeway, then to Belfast and you return to Dublin. They dropped us off at the door of the Local Museum. You don't have to pay to visit the road, you just walk through the doors of the building and start walking until you find it. When I went the bridge was closed because of bad weather. It's impressive. If you want to buy a souvenir of the place, you will have to pay yes or yes 12 euros (adults +18), since you pay for the museum and the shop.
"Mystical place of Dreams of the Celtics." I had always wanted to see the Giant's Causeway and I was not disappointed. Walking among the stones, one feels as if you are in an enchanting place. As you step on to the stones you automatically feel as if you have traveled back in time. This is especially true if you're there when there's not many others around. Definitely a must visit when you are in Northern Ireland! ☺👍☝👍
This is a beautiful spot in Ireland, definitely worth a visit, you can take a few walks of varying degrees of difficulty, there is a map provided explaining these. There is also a bus available to take you to the bottom & back up, in Sept 2019 it cost £1 a visit (1 visit down and another back up) if needed. There is also toilets, a shop, a cafe, some interesting info & a few things for children in the visitors centre all with wheelchair access
