  • Really beautiful place to visit. There are restaurants and cafes and also there was music being played at the bandstand. There was also a gathering of little quirky stalls you could buy products from. Also there is a small train for young ones to travel around the park on. Beautiful gardens. Very lovely place.
  • As town parks go, this is a well landscaped with quite a bit going on. It's gardens make for a pleasant stroll or dog walk, there is plenty if water features with an abundance of waterfowl, also children's play area and miniature railway . One of the lakes has pedalos/boats available for hire. Than there are the well maintained historic buildings; tea rooms, lovely conservatory, concert hall and much more.
