Highland Titles Nature Reserve, Duror

Take one of the numerous scenic hikes at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, a reserve combination of woods, moors, and mountains with two man-made lakes. The ancient semi-natural woodlands feature silver birches, willows, oaks, alders, and rowan. A rest area provides benches, picnic tables, and viewpoints towards the lake. Herons and ducks will keep you company, and you may also spot red deer, roe deer, foxes, badgers, European pine martens, and red squirrels. Rent a 4WD to tour the entire area. • Nice little place to go for walk about with the family even if its wet, but yes very interesting to some good information about the different animals that can be found in the area. My only concern was that the map that is available to use is a bit basic and not realy to scale so for someone with an elderly member of the family with them they could end up going a bit further than they or you wanted too. But I would recommend the Highland Titles Nature Reserve for a morning or afternoon walk with the family....
  • A great estate with a beautiful vision of the future. The tour was outstanding - informative and delightful. Buy yourself a square foot and become a laird. Thanks David.
