  • In fine weather, a good view over Edinburgh and into the distance. Unfortunately, we had no luck with the weather.

  • We love hiking up here and going for a stroll around all the monuments. Great views of the city too!  more »

  • I and my friends came to Calton Hill early in the morning so there weren't many people yet and it was beautiful. The hill is overlooking the city of Edinburgh; it's a good vantage point. It's also home to several monuments that makes you feel as if you were in Athens or Rome. There were some benches available around the hill so you could sit and enjoy the view. It's free too.
  • I attended the Halloween night event, showing the ice king killing the fire king, then when Summer arrives at Beltane, the fire (Sun) king will kill the ice king, completing a year, and on and on it goes in the circle of life. Fantastic event, lots of make up and costumes, it was very busy, sold out well in advance. If you want to attend a show then book early, great night views of the city.
