  Visited on a very busy Sunday, where most people tried to observe social distancing rules. A lot of the actual nature reserve was closed and they simply operated a one-way system round the boardwalk.....  more »

  Beautiful views, lovely nature and a hen harrier roost. The main spectacle in the winter is the hen harrier. They return every year to roost in the fens and can be seen sliding towards the Sedge Fen....  more »

  Beautiful nature reserve. Lots of information to explain the importance of fen land and it's preservation. Multiple hides with stunning views and the opportunity to see a diverse range of wildlife. Points of interest include a wind powered water pump and a beautiful windmill. The cafe sells delicious scones. Car park is very large. A lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon.

  It was a great day out! A box I should have ticked long ago! Would I go again? Yes I would and will. Must try the boat trip!! My ancestors know all about bogs so it was like being at home. Glad I brought my great grandads stilts. They were a great help! I like the occasional moan but sorry I can't find anything to moan about. To get a good feel for Wicken Fen I would suggest that it's definitely a two day, if not three event. All that lovely European money that came our way has paid off. I don't know anyone at Wicken Fen but they all deserve a pat on the back!! A big one.
