Camden Market, London

4.4
With hundreds of stalls selling clothing, crafts, and food, Camden Market is one of Europe's largest markets. The nexus of one of London's most offbeat neighborhoods, the market joins together a series of smaller markets. Start in Camden Lock Market, the one that helped give rise to the others. Here you'll find music, films, books, crafts, and unusual gift items. Head to Camden Stables Market for vintage clothing and antiques. Most of the markets contain food stalls, but go to Inverness Street for fresh produce and continental-style restaurants. Sunday is the busiest day here, and the Camden tube stop restricts inbound service in the afternoon to help manage the crowds. You'll find fewer people--but also fewer open stalls--on weekdays. • Great place to go in London. It had real character and had some really interesting stalls inside. You always find something different when you come here and the food you find is also really quite something. It is the place to go if you're trying to find something unusual.
  • Beautiful market! We spent 5 days total in London and actually came here twice because we liked it so much. There is a big range of shops from furnitureshop to a cornflakes bar. Also the food section is amazing. We ended up buying some Thai food and we were definitely not disappointed. Also a really nice place for photography as it used to be a old horse stable.
