  • The library would be fine if the parents who live in the area didn't think it was acceptable to allow their children to run around and shout as they conduct conversations shouting across the room at each other. The staff have no interest in doing anything about. Really terrible.
  • Dumbed down version of a library but still worth visiting. Pity that Lambeth councillors voted to waste scarce resources on digging out the basement at a cost of £1.2m (no doubt the cost increased from this contract sum), would have been better to spend it on running a library rather than their own vain projects. Um, after writing this a few weeks ago I am updating it as I went back to the library to read a newspaper and the member of staff there (not a security guard) looked at me as if I was crazy and asked me if the library ever used to have newspapers!! Perhaps not so worth visiting after all.
